SYNOPSIS Jordan Rhoades is the young son of an American ex-pat couple living in the Czech Republic, who’s life is forever changed by a sudden tragedy, which claims the lives of both his mother and father.
Jordan retreats to his secret hiding place, an attic atop an abandoned building, where Marie, his best friend keeps his whereabouts hidden from everyone, including her mother, a police inspector and especially Jordan’s Uncle Jack, who has flown over from the U.S. to take him back.
Jordan adopts a troublesome homeless lady named Frantiska, and together they embark on a long journey of discovery, encountering a host of colorful characters along the way, staying one step ahead of the truth, until the inevitable showdown takes place in Franny’s dark chamber of secrets, between her unwillingness to let go of her past and Jordan’s need to face his tragic circumstance.
